Telesales Manager

Job Title: Telesales Manager

Main Purpose of Job

The efficient and effective management of a sales office, overseeing a sales team, meeting sales targets and the development and training of Telesales staff. The Telesales manager is also responsible for leading the team and is wholly accountable for the achievement of the overall team sales target.

Key Tasks

  • Recruit, mentor and develop employees in environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment
  • Meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • Management of any disciplinary/grievance processes  
  • Keep ahead of industry’s developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement
  • Control resources and utilize assets to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets
  • Responsible for the performance of the team and team members to achieve KPI’s
  • Training, coaching, development, and performance management of all team members
  • Adhere to and manage approved budgets
  • Forecasting and analysing sale data
  • Regular reporting of KPI’s to the Group Fuel Card Director
  • Motivate team members through feedback on performance
  • A good understanding of the market dynamics in the respective sector
  • Management of prospective database and calling campaigns
  • Undertake performance reviews for the individual team members
  • To carry out any ad hoc tasks as required from time to time.

Person Specification

Qualification - Degree level or proven track record in a similar enterprise. Computing skills in Microsoft Office. Driving Licence. 


  • 2+ years’ B2B sales experience
  • 3+ years in leadership sales position
  • Track record of superior performance metrics
  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills, being able to communicate with people of all level.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changes in the working environment.
