Fuelcard Sales Team Leader

Job Title: Fuelcard Sales Team Leader
Salary: Subject to proven experience (£23,000 – £27,000) + realistic OTE
Location: Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

KEY TASKS

  • Responsible for the daily management and development of a team of sales consultants
  • Responsible for the successful achievement of your teams sales KPI’s
  • Responsible for ensuring secured sales have met company standards
  • Responsible for identifying training gaps, and supporting the training organised and  implemented by the training manager in order to enable each team member to reach their full potential
  • Call new business to establish and develop relationships with the aim to convert them into customers. Calls can be either to cold, and/or warm leads from prospecting database.
  • Ensure all KPI’s are achieved on a daily/weekly basis as directed by the General Manager.
  • Assist credit control to gain information they require from prospects/customers to have an account open or to increase credit limits, etc.
  • Ensure all follow-up procedures to all potential customers are correctly maintained within the specified timescales.
  • Ensure prospecting database entries are accurate and up-to-date to ensure efficiency of the sales process.
  • Complete customer queries and requests in a timely manner meeting set KPI’s
  • Ensure leads handling process is followed by your team and all sales pipelines are managed effectively to ensure all opportunities are adequately managed.
  • Utilise the companies E-Shot system to send weekly pricing / marketing communications to generate leads and gain potential customers
  • Assist the General Manager in developing and enhancing our offering to the market.
  • Assist the General Manager in helping streamline processes and gain efficiencies where possible

 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • A proven track record of sales success in an outbound sales capacity.
  • Excellent problem solving and team building skills
  • Worked in a Business to Business (B2B) environment
  • Have strong closing skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Have the ability to work on own initiative as well as in consultation with colleagues in a positive and harmonious manner

TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • A minimum 1 years’ experience of running a sales team in an outbound B2B environment
  • Proven understanding of the Sales Process in b2B business structures.
  • Have a positive, can do attitude
  • Highly driven to succeed
  • Proficient in both keyboard use and Microsoft Office Outlook and Word.
  • Understanding of Microsoft CRM an advantage but no necessary as full training provided
  • Educated to a minimum GCSE Grade C+ in Maths and English.
