Fuelcard Sales Consultant

Job Title: Fuelcard Sales Consultant
Salary: Subject to proven experience (£18,000 – £23,000) + OTE
Location: Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Main Purpose of Job

Conduct outbound B2B Sales Calls to Qualified Businesses in order to identify and secure new business growth for the fuel card channel.


  • Uncapped commission – you control your earnings!
  • 20 days holiday - this increases by 1 day for every year of service (up to 25 days)
  • No weekends or bank holidays

  • In-house dedicated training to ensure you succeed


  • Qualifying leads by outbound calls
  • Generate new business in line with set targets
  • Managing a pipeline of clients
  • Maintain the database ensuring all information is up to date.
  • Provide follow-up calls to company mail shots as and when required
  • Email follow-up
  • To exceed a call duration of 2 hours and complete 100+ calls per day
  • Work towards monthly sales targets


  • A proven track record of sales success in a phone based sales capacity
  • 1 years’ experience in outbound B2B sales / cold calling
  • Experience of working towards targets
  • Strong closing skills
  • An excellent telephone manner with great communication skills
  • A passion to deliver value to customers
  • IT literate in both keyboard use and Microsoft Office Outlook and Word
  • Educated to a minimum GCSE Grade C in Math’s and English
